Our Congregation
Redeemer is a welcoming and friendly congregation located in the CBD of beautiful Toowoomba, the garden city, located on the escarpment of the Great Diving Range west of Brisbane. Visitors are always welcome to join us for worship and a cuppa after the service.
Our service time is 9.30am every Sunday. We use both modern and traditional service styles, data projection and a hearing assisted T-loop. Male and female readers and a capable team of musicians also assist in leading the service.
We reach out and care for the elderly, too ill or frail to attend service, with home visits by the ladies fellowship and with Holy Communion visits by Pastor.
We have always been focused on mission with past members serving at Coen and Wudjal Wudgal missions and in recent years supporting Asia Focus and Creative Word Fellowship. Financial support is regularly given to Hanna Schultz, a Bible translator working in Papua New Guinea.
Together with Good Shepherd congregation we own, manage and employ an onsite manager for Northridge Haven Retirement Village in North Toowoomba.
As a congregation we endeavour to reflect our mission statement as a Christian family: Redeemed by Christ, to worship God, to serve the body of believers, to do God’s work in the world.
Our hall is available for hire upon application. It has been recently renovated and now has a large semi-commercial-styled kitchen.
